Applications are now being accepted for the 2012 Executive Office of the President Summer Internship Program. The program is an excellent opportunity for college students to gain professional experience and build leadership skills.

The Office of Administration is currently seeking dedicated students to serve as student interns. This is an unpaid position, working up to 40 hours per week. The Executive Office of the President consists of The White House, Executive Residence, Office of the Vice President, Office of the United States Trade Representatives, Office of Science and Technology Policy, Office of the National Drug Control Policy, Office of Management and Budget, Office of Administration, National Security Staff, Council on Environmental Quality, and Council of Economic Advisers.

Participants in the program will be exposed to the Federal work environment and will learn about the mission of the Office of Administration and its role and responsibility to the Executive Office of the President.

Key requirements for the position includes:

*Must be a US citizen or national.

*Registered with the Selective Service, if a male born after Dec. 1, 1959.

*Must be in good academic standings.

*Subject to pre-employment and random drug tests.

*Enrolled or accepted for enrollment as a degree seeking student.
