  • Comments Off on Hot off The Press: Summer Program at Columbia University – Applications due Feb 14th
i advise so many college students who say they want to go to medical school but you can tell they are not quite sure.   they really like helping people, they enjoy science, their parents told them they had to, or they like watching House!   but why medicine (or any other career); they have no clue….there is no better way to determine a career path than actual experience.
internships and summer programs that expose youth to the ins and outs of a job are where it’s at.
so please, please, please apply to opportunities you may hear about even if the $$ is little to none.  the pay off in the long run is HUGE
1) networking with the moguls of that field
2) looks good on your resume
3) a chance to meet new friends
4) inside scoop on the job of your dreams!!!
Check out the latest opp at Columbia University…
